Like spring today -heard this little crying, checked the young doe and went for the sheet and the dry towels,Oh yes, she was in hard labor- two little feet out, but upside down, well this is not my first breach birth, but it is the first time a little head was also trying to come. I had no way of knowing that was a twin trying to birth normal along side the breach baby.By his time, it was get that baby out at all costs, So I did all the no, no's, pulled with all my strength, doe was screaming. Out popped a live baby and then the second one also alive . 2 little does. I lost the one I pulled tonight, there was no room to push them back in when I found her ,I did try.Well I saved the momma doe and one of the doelings.This momma was not real tame. She knew that I was trying to help her, she cleaned both the kids ,both were dry and breathing .Silky [the mom] reached out and truley slapped a whole series of really sincere wet kisses on my face. The goats are just incredable!!!!
