Also - one thing I remembered : my kids at nationals got the raging scours towrds the end of the show - one breeder had with her what we jokingly called "Liquid Gold" which is Sprectum Scour Halt a pig scours product. Its a red jug -has a pump.. forgot the dosage, but I'm sure you follow the instructions by weight. Just be sure to probios them all after. It worked wonders for everone.

also rehydrating - there is another product Deliver - we use it on our calves last year with much sucess. It comes in packets, has fiber in it to help dry them up. It mixes pink like and gets thick fast!! (smells good I think anyway, my co-workes think I'm nuts) If I remember right on this one, you withhold milk for a certain number of hrs while drenching with Deliver. It has enough nutrients to hold them through treatment. We're starting calving soon so I'm sure we'll be using it again when they get the annual scours.
If I think of anything else I'll run it by! Sometimes even pepto helps give a little relief!
