well it took 3 people and one dog but we got the old lady moved into the barn. she was clearly put out when jack jumped on her, but the poor thing being old , prego and short getting through the snow covered mud was too much for her. goathater came out and boosted the front ,i boosted the back, caleb talked and shook grain and of course jack nipped. once in the barn she collapsed on a big pile of hay and dove headfirst into the grain. we think part of her problem is somehow she missed getting her feet trimmed at shearing time. probally because she is such a pain to deal with, make her made and she will collapse, she is like a 250# pile of wool. seems more like a 300# pile after helping her into the barn lol what a log!!! so she has been trimmed now, and partialy sheared. with the rain turning to snow she is covered in ice. i sheared her with scissorts until my fingers were numb to my wrist, the old bat seemed to like it. she is now covered up with old feed bags (to absorb the melting snow) and a wool horseblanket(seemed fitting) to warm her up. tonite i will trim her up some more and worm her that should make her day. : ) gotta go please forgive my writting it's not easy with frozen fingers. i am going to get some coffee, also goathater is watching a bull ridding video they are exciting....have a good one....laugh i mean cause i am..never dull on this farm
