I didn't mean to say that you didn't feed well. Sometimes it can be a differance in how the hay grew (more rain less rain, differant fetilizer). I have always fed round bales, the hay we have this year is better than most. Often we don't grain in the winter or grain much. Nothing has changed w/my feeding program still 1 ketosis , 2 milk fever, 2 pnumoinas. From what I have read goats do the best on a grassyer hay with some alfafa ours isn't very grassy, but then it never has been. So anyway I am sorry if I implied that you were feeding badly, thats not what I ment
