Hey Dalice, where is that new picture of the imp(Lucky). It's supposed to be -10 here tonight so I will be doing the barnyard run all night. The one little doe Bounce is as broad as she is tall (middle back in picture) she can hardly walk. I palpated two kids today very tiny. Maybe more. I hope my father was right about "the older the buck the smaller the kids" he always said that even back when we had dairy cattle he would use the oldest bull he had on the first freshening heifers. When he helped me with the goat selection he would remind me of his beliefs on the subject. He was very adamant about it.(Geez, I sure miss him. He was only 76 when he died.) I have thought about sending this idea of my dads to Gary to see if he would like to add it to his list of potions, cures and natures bits. Well time for a barn run.
