Hi Linda the next 7 weeks will seem like a life time waiting on them babies, so hubby is right plan other activities & stay busy.. I overseed my goat pastures every year for the last 3 years with fescue grass seed and I also put on a fertilizer. I try to do this around the first of march or at least by middle of March. I live in Tenn.. My goat pastures have a good amount of white top clover in them, so my dad told me that clover makes it own ammonium nitrate so it would be best to use a 10/10/10 fertilizer instead of straight ammonium nitrate like I have been doing. So thats what I will be doing here shortly to my pasture lots. Oh one more thing if you plan on fertilizing what I do is wait until there's a light rain coming my way and I fertilize right before a light rain..Good luck with them babies... Sandy & Kids
