Hopefull that link works for you ok - cut and paste it if it dosnt auto link iteslf - I can never figure these things out sometimes. :-)
Thought it would have a picture of it, but they dont. NASCO's site would but is not working well tonight. Most feed stores have these like buckets, and leads, lol.. a tool no calf'raiser can be without, like raising kids and having those 60 cc srynges.
What I like best about the tube feeding bag system is that not only is the "liquids" bag attached to the feeder tube, but it seals, and can be hung on a high nail if you're stuck feeding yourself - hard to hold a calf, slip the tube and then hold it and raise the bag - this way you dont spill it, easy to work with, and the tube is re-enforced, and has the wonderful "bulb" on the end to hekp prevent going down the wrong tube. the soft part of the tube (surgial tube part) has a clamp - like an IV clamp that keeps the goo inthe top bag part till you've fed in the tube ok, and are ready to roll.
I found it handy.. during the spring that thing is the best thing invented right next to wheel when it comes to getting alot of liquids into a calf, FAST.
Let me know if you need any pointers on using that thing! Very easy..
