Cutting grain befor kidding?

If you cut the does grain ration before kidding how much do you cut?Do you cut it all the way and feed more hay?Inormaly feed a pound a day. I have cut it to half a pound every other day.per goat.
I was reading the articals,I must be confused.Thank you ,Pam
