No reason to be sorry. I should have given more info. I am somewhat new to the goat thing, while we have had them for about 3 yrs. it has only in the last 2 gotten to be serious goat keeping. No she has not been ridding any of the does but she was real clear that the Mytonic was not allowed to breed. However if the Boer tries she doesn't have a problem with it. I knew she was the queen of the herd but this flapping of the tounge thing was new. Gary posted something about weather and location affecting animals so that could be it also. We are in southern MI and have only gotten about 1" of snow thats about 23" less than normal. I am thinking many factors are in play here. If she doesn't kid in the spring we may do some bloodwork to detirmine if cysts are a possiblity I think that would cost less then an ultra sound esp. if I draw the blood and run it in (no farm call). Thanks again.
