She seems to be doing OK. Tinker is a 3 yr old Nubian. She's eating and drinking just fine. She grabs her hay and chews without any problems, and she even browsed on some grass and pine limbs this morning. She won't hold still for any attempts to pull the tooth and won't even let me look without a struggle, so I'm letting nature take its course, since she seems to be coping pretty well. I'm sure the tooth will come out soon, if it hasn't already.

Gary, the salt water sounds like a good idea. I'll put some out for her and I'll try to dab some on if my hubby can hold her still. I am worried about infection. The goathouse is kept pretty clean and their eating areas are clean and seperated, but I'll be extra vigilant about that for the next few days anyway!

Goatmom, I don't think this tooth could be saved. It could be wiggled from flat out front to flat out in. Wasn't too much tissue holding it in at all. I was afraid she'd hurt her jaw bone, but I don't think so, judging from how well she eats. Her lip is a little puffy, other than that, no swelling or visible bruises or cuts.

I guess she'll be OK, I just hate it when any of my animals are hurting. You all know what that's like!
