Helene Trishee Ann thinks its x-mas with all the hugges and kisses she's gotten lately..We wont talk about all the needle sticking she's gotten tho...
As of this morning Trishee Ann is still here. I went out to the barn and she was up on her own and nibbling hay. She is still very, very wobbly on her feet and very unsure of herself. Still normal temp tho. I had no where to put Trishee last night away from her herd mates except put her in with her blind mom. Trishee has not been in with her at all since her mom got sick in 1999. But they could still hear and smell each other over the coarse of the last 2 years.. I went out several times during the night and her mom was laying right by Trishee and was talking baby talk just like she did when Trishee was a baby..I recall when Trishee was a baby maybe 8 to 10 days old she would actually jump up on her moms back and her mom would just stand there until Trishee got tried of jumping.I stood there in the barn hallway with tears just watching for the longest last night as they lightly nudged back and forth at each other.. I think Trishee has a will to live just like her mom did and I truly feel she will be just fine. I will continue the med.'s for several more days and hope for the best.. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers I will keep you posted.. If there's anything I have learned is there's nothin stronger than a mother's love, because I seen that last night. And Trishee Ann and her mom will be room mates for life if she pulls though this..I'll never separate them again.Later Sandy
