That is really a nice little story. In life, a person can never tell what awaits them around the corner. Of course I like to think that most of what awaits us around those corners is good. So it sounds like you made a couple of friends and found a good home for Kapu. You can always go and visit him right?
I guess I'm kind of the stupid one here at our place because I try to keep them all. I mean what's a goat world without more goats than you can count running all over the place? I get those days where I'm ready to sell the whole lot of the and become a goldfish farmer. Well, that's sell all of them except maybe that one. "Well, if I'm keeping that one then I better keep that doe too. And if I'm keeping that doe, I better keep at least one or two of her kids. Oh heck, better keep all the kids. No, can't get rid of the buck either."
Pretty soon I've kept them all and am wondering why I wanted to get rid of them at all!
So I'm glad things worked out here for you Goatmom. Always nice to hear some good things happening like this.
