Now that we have freezing temperatures every day, and the fact that business sometimes keeps us away from home many hours each day, I worry that I cannot keep the herd in fresh "unfrozen" water for parts of the day.
They get fresh warm water each morning and again each night but of course, in between, the water freezes. Do goats eat/lick snow like the horses do? Are they OK with this watering schedule, if not? Info would surely be appreciated!
