We get some cold winters here in upstate NY. My goats have done OK so far. I did have some upper respiratory infection last year, but I think that may have been from being stressed by traveling to a new farm to be bred. This year I have my own billy, so they will be staying home. I offer warm water several times a day, on the really cold ones. They always have access to the barn for protection from the elements. Usually if it isn't snowing, they hang outside....even on the coldest of days. So, I'm thinking that the temp. that they can tolerate is pretty low.
