Last winter here in Minnasota it was the longest and coldest winter. We had temps in the range of 20 - 30 below I know Lila can remember that. we only had a barn at that time that was really only considered to be a wind break no heat only straw for bedding and they seemed to do fine here, and of course then I didn't have any small kids I'm not sure how they would do, although this winter I will so we'll see how it goes. We now have an insulated barn so they will be warmer.
