I remember that Vicki recommended using red cell for an anemic goat, like one anemic from a bad case of worms. I believe that it has animal byproducts in it that is why some people prefer not to use it for goats or cattle, something to do with passing on stuff like mad cow or whatever else terrible you can think of.Sorry I cannot be more specific but my braid is fried tonite.
