Lyman did a test today with mineral. The pen that had the goats with coccidia was given loose mineral and they ate it like hogs. He took it to another pen and the goats we got off the dairy farm that had coccidia bad last time also ate it fast. Our original first goats didn't eat it real well. Sniffed and walked away. He then gave the coccidia ones a mineral block and they tried to bite hunks off. These are the goats we also gave the red cell. Looks like a mineral difficency may be helping in the cause of sick goats. We got the coccidia stopped again and most of them didn't get sick. Any opinions?
