Hi, I'd like to have feedback on what everyone on goatworld is feeding their goatsy goats. I feed mine hay that I get from the area. I also feed them twice a day a mix of a multi-grain, a kinda goat mix with corn and pellets and molasses, and some sunflowers. MY doe is pregnant so I don't know if I'm feeding the right stuff for her needs. They also have access to shrubs and now they seem to eat alot of evergreens as where I live there is nothing else left. My friend told me that when he had goats he fed them in the winter nothing but evergreen branches and his two does produced a gallon a day. Now I'm not quite sure where he was living at the time, in England, where he's from or here in Canada. So I'm interested in all of you wonderful people's responses.
