Of all the things I'm losing, I think I miss my mind the most......

Geez, for the life of me I can't remember what you call the things that grow back, after a goat is dehorned. My billy is growing these "things", and I wanted to research them. Kind of hard to do, when you can't remember what they are called. Also, if you guys want to add any info. about these "things", it would be appreciated. Guess I will go and try and find something to stimulate my brain cells a little. I think they are starting to die from lack of use.
