Lila, it very well could be stress. Is her new owners giving her cocci prevention? I would most definatly tell them to start her on a treatment. You can purchase Albon or other Sulfa Drugs from either pipeline.com or jeffers.

Also just a suggestion, but instead of buying the powdered milk, which can be more expensive, we bottle feed our little ones whole store bought cows milk and then even switch to 2% by the time they are at the age you are talking about.

Also if she has diareah make sure she is getting plenty of liquids. you can give them gator aide in a bottle or even sugar water if you don't have the gator aide so she stays hydrated.
