Banding Method - an email I received

Hi folks,

This just in... an email I received from a person named Steve Wineberg. Here it is in its entirety:

I urge you to publish a strong statement that goat herders should not use
the "banding" or rubber band method of castration, on the grounds that this
amounts to torturing the animal over an extended period of time just so the
herder can save a little money.
