Gary, believe me when I say I would be raking all day and all night and I don't think it would do any good..we have a ton of trees!! I see the goats eating more of the leaves than the acorns though. BUt what you are saying about the worms do make sense. I'll see if I can do a little more reading on it myself.

I felt a lot better after speaking ty my vet. He pretty much said that he is not saying that it could not happen, he just has been feeding his goats acorns for years and have not seen it happen either to him or anyone he knows. Of course cattle is a different story..He says the accorns are highly poisonus to them. I guess that is why my father inlaw feeds that corn glueten.
