Thank you for your advice. I think I'm doing a bit better today. It was real windy and cold all day and I think it must have dried alot of it out of me. Maybe the Brewers Yeast did help a bit too.
Years ago at a place I worked, the common remedy was drinking a bottle of Nyquil - the whole thing. Well, it used to work. Got me curious what was in Nyquil. At least 25% alcohol. I think it worked because it got you drunk. LOL So whiskey isn't too far fetched an idea. Problem is that I would like it too much and keep on "seeking the remedy" long after the cold was gone. LOL
I never could figure out what the saying "starve a cold and feed a fever" meant either. I know that I have been staying away from alot of milk based products because they are supposed to create more mucous. At any rate, like my dad says, "I can go to the doctor and get some medicine and it will be gone in seven days. Or I can do nothing and it will be gone in a week.
I'll give some of your remedies a try. Thanks again.
