Safe-Guard - Milk Withdrawal (for Kari)

Goat Mineral Mix Dolomite Pellets

Hi Kari,

In my response message to your question about worming with Safe-Guard, I was wrong. I happened to find the fact sheet that comes with the wormer and there is a paragraph written on it called "Contraindications" that reads:

"There are no known contraindications for the use of Safe-Guard Paste 10% in horses or cattle. In dairy cattle, there is no milk withdrawal period."

So the 14 day withdrawal period I mentioned is not correct. I guess that is why they call it "Safe-Guard".

Best regards,
