We just got an old clean chest freezer from our dump that doesn't work (pruposely). We're putting a hasp on it (our goats are houdini's), and putting it in the goat barn to store unopened bags of grain so I can buy them a couple of weeks before I need them and store them in this "rat proof" and "goat proof" container. That way, I don't need a lot of trash cans for srorage, and don't have to carry the new grain bags in through the snow at the last moment to mix feed.
