Well, Our snow is finally here,2 inches last night. And really dumping on us right now. Wish I'd known about the pumpkins the other day, Safeway had a pile and was saying, help your self.They also like oranges,cabbage, carrots ,rose bushes are thier favorite.All the fruit family. I used to go dumpster diving when I had the pigs. when the stores clean out thier veggies you can pick them right out of the dumpster, and a lot of that stuff is still in packages. Whoops - I think the cherry seeds are poisenous. The goats have won , I dont even try to pen them up anymore, This year Im using the pens for the garden area ,I'll just rototill with the tractor. Free, already in place manuer.And keep the gates closed around the garden. Cant keep the goats in, maybe I can keep the garden in.???Better go ,horses and goats are looking in the windows and eating snow. BOY, was that a dirty look. Sigh---goat mom
