I made a batch of those same cookies.I decided to make some ginger snaps too. I thought they looked good so without being a good cook and tasting them I gave a plate to my brother for his birthday this year. After I tasted them I was soooooo embarrassed that I had shared them with him. Next time I saw him I apologized for giving him something so awful. He was gra cious and just smiled. My husband and kids on the other hand let me know how awful they were and my husband still laughs about them. I don't know where I went wrong but I will find a new recipe for ginger snaps before I try again. Our chickens choked my cookies down.
