Pam..my email addy is carsonmh@volfirst.net just incase you didn't get it.
training a kitten?? explain someone how to do that? Mike and I were talking the other day about those nasty rodents in our barn. When we used to have just the chickens we used to be able to put rat poison packets under the barn and that would take care of them. I wouldn't dare do it now w/the goats and now the calves.
Mike mentioned those electronic thingys that you can use for moles and he heard they are suppose to work w/any kind of burrowing animal including rats and mice. I suggested a cat..but I am also afraid that the cat would eat my chickens, so I am guessing a kitten would be a better way to go on that one. I also didn't want to get a kitten in the winter either..so now we are back to what are we gonna do..I won't even go in the barn without knocking on the walls or the door first to make sure the coast is clear..and I am afraid they are going to get under our house and find their way in..Then you will see this girl moving back to the city..LOL...Snakes, Spiders and Rodents..my 3 biggest fears..
