The policeman of Ceylon called me one day and said someone in town had a potbelly pig they HAD to get rid of and wanted to know if I could do the city a favor and take him. Well without asking Lyman I said yes. We were raising longhorn cattle at the time. They brought the pig out about the time Lyman got home and needless to say I got "the look". Like what on earth is this doing here. So we took him out to a building to put him away that was right next to the longhorn pen. The old cows spotted him and here they came. Bellering and pushing on the cattle paneling. I held the off till Lyman got him shoved in a building and got the door locked. It is for certain they didn't like him. He didn't stay here long. This is kinda funny now that I look back but it was kinda scarey trying to hold off longhorn cows with just a cattle panel between them and me and a pig on the otherside that they didn't like. Whew!
