Nat,
The more I think about it, the more concerned I am about goat polio--starts off as "a little off", "not quite right". Just in case---until you can get some thiamine (tomorrow, I hope), don't give him any sweet feed or anything sweet. Sugar depletes the thiamine more, and causes brain swelling.
