From what i understand also is that it is a contagious disease and can be spread to humans as well so please be careful and where gloves when examining or assisting when goat are kidding. May I ask how you came to find out that your doe had Chlamydia? I was told you only need to vaccinate 4-6 weeks before breeding and when introducing new does into the herd that they need 2 injections a month apart prior to breeding. As far as kids I would think they would need to be vaccinated too if you are going to use them for breeding when they get older. Another thing you might want to think about is that even though you sold what you thought is the source if you have a buck of your own and he bred her and went on to breed others he may have spread the disease to some of the other does, I don't know your situation but it is something you might need to know.
