many years ago our beloved goats had jobs besides giving us thier milk and meat and above all love.I just got a letter today from A dear friend who is an archeologist. It read ,did you know, in the old ,old days that goats were used to pack down earth dams, Untill the dirt was stable enough to hold zillions of tons of water,,the herd was ran back and forth , For god only knows how long. I was so amazed. I just wanted to share this with you all,I have been learning so much this kidding about goat behavior, When they lose A baby, Its truly A love thing, my goats are either gung ho for A baby or they wont go near it , almost like they know it wont make it.Guess I got off the subject . Thier just so beautiful. .....goat mom
