The Red-Cell that is intended for horses has a warning that tells you not to feed it to ruminants. I beleive that it contains some kind of bone/blood meal - which, we all know is a big no-no for ruminants after the lovely BSE, TSE, ect. problems that are arising.

Just wanted to pass on the info. I remember seeing my jug and reading it one day and being suprised at the warning label.

Good Luck with your little one. I had a weak doeling last year that had a "sloppy" rear end. She wasn't as bad as yours sounds, but I still had to keep her under a heat lamp the first few days, and would have to steady her for her bottle. (she also looked like she had horrible conformation in the rear too!)

My guess would be a selinium deficiency, or else if he was the smaller of the twins, maybe he was in a bad position in the doe? Hmm..
