Powdered Vitamin C

kid with weak back legs

Posted by Cindy on November 03, 2001 at 19:45:25:

I am new to the message board, I have read through messages and learned alot from everyone, now I have a question. My boar doe had twins Friday morning a buck and a doe, the doe is fine, the buck is weak and wobbly in his back legs. He was nursing Friday all day and through the night, I went out about every 2-3 hrs, I had to hold him because he was too wobbly to nurse long. Now this morning he is rattley sounding he won't nurse, or suck a bottle so I have been tube feeding him, He is strong in his front legs, he drags his back legs behind can't stand on them long. I gave him 2cc of liquid ID this morning, and all I had was LA200 so I gave him about 1cc of that, probably not the best antibiotic, but again that is all I have right now. He seems to be breathing better tonight still can't stand on back legs.
