Here we go.Some thing I know A lot about , and its not foot rot. Its how NOT to bandage a foot.TO TIGHT WILL CUT OFF THE CIRCULATION.And the animal will lose a foot or eaven a leg. This story is true. and I was part of it . in other words I was there .Dont know if this is necessary to bring up , but A very rich man had a race horse that pulled a tendon, he decided to bandage it him self, never thinking to change it or eaven check it. Just started Out as a limp and progressed to gangerine,I was there when they [a vet]amputated the hoof up to the hock.I also was privy to helping in getting a prosthieses made for the horse,There is nothing more beautiful than watching a three legged horse give birth and nurse a foal,LAYING DOWN. YES!!!!So if your going to bandage a leg. Please be DAMN careful. PAY attention. Were talking Four years later . still changing bandages every other day. And Two foals later yes. two foals later.THANK GOD FOR LOVE.....Goat mom
