Yep!!! didn't you read the surgeon general's warning on the bottom of your goat?? HEHE... they also can emit some nasty fumes too when ruminating from both ends! :-)
I get poison ivy really badly too. I didn't know untill this summer that you can get a cortozone shot, or be put on predasome (sp?)if its too bad. Go figure, it was when I had just gotten rid of it after it climbed all over my legs, ect! yuckie ivy... thank god something can eat the stuff! I just wish they wouldn't share!
What I like to do is get the caladryl clear - it helps stop the itch for a while.. then I rotate to the old pink goop to help dry it up. Feels nice when the ivy spots sting finally!
One lesson I did learn - all my milkers have to be on a ivy free lot when they're in milk.. Guess where I caught it a few months ago.. yep.. all over my wrists and hands. YUCK!..
Happy goating!
(p.s. stop itching and scratching!! VBG!)
