Hi Della . Did you ever get any more history on the origin of your name??? Well, about the boys and bushes. I took my herd out to a new area yesterday , and watched the battle of the bushes. Even some of the girls joined in. It could be itchy horns,[scent glands] marking territory or just want the bushes to smell as good as themselves. About the buck pounding that full grown tree, he is probaly just getting ready for his first battle. Boy,is he in for a surprize, when his new opponent fights back .[poor thing.]LOL - goat mom
