I saw on the news as I was passing the tv last night that some had snow...I love the winters actually!! I am not one for the heat all year long..this comes from someone who had spent 18 yrs in Fla..begging my husband to get out of there..We are originally from NY and I missed the change of seasons..but the fall and the cold the most!!
I do not think I am going to do heat lamps..they make me a nervous wreck!! The goat coats though, that is a good idea..I have one of the 3 month olds that is smaller than the others, and I think she would benifit from that!! We are constantly putting the hay out there for them..so they have it all the time.
What about bedding? any other suggestions other than hay? I wonder if there is something that would stay a little dryer?..We leave the shelter door opened for them, so they can go in and out..and they have plenty of venitlation. We also have another shelter for them..on the other side of the yard, so they can go back and fourth if they want from one to another.
Thank you guys I feel so much more prepaired now!!
