I did a "major dopey thing"

Posted by Helene on October 06, 2001 at 07:48:35:

Hi I am so embarrassed to even admit this, but I want to make sure I am not neglecting anything here...

The other day I went to get into my car and my LaMancha Eris like always comes running to me and tries to jump in my lap. I was in a hurry to pick my son up and I moved her out of the way..or so I thought, closed the car door and well closed it on her face..the poor thing..I felt so bad..She did not scream or anything, just stood up on her hind legs and kinda moved her jaw around, almost to check to see if it was broken or something. My husband said she walked around shaking her head for like 30 min after I was gone. No blood, she is eating fine and she shows no signs of pain etc..but I wonder if I could have damaged anything...She seems fine..kinda looks at me weird still and this was 2 days ago..Is there anything I should be checking to make sure it works..LOL..ugg I swear..sometimes these gals are worse than my kids..and I am sooo clumbsy!!
