Tracy, it is very common to cross a nubian and a boer. I am from Texas and my kids are in the FFA and that is what all the kids here show.
The two that we have are 7/8 boer and 1/8 nubian. They are very pretty goats. I will be getting some film developed Friday and if you would like I will email you some pictures of them.
