That is an idea. Someone else explained the procedure very well but I will try and take some pics next time we cut. My husband processes alot of cattle and we were new at this but we just used the same technique he used and it worked fine. I don't think it is a procedure for the weak of stomach though!LOL! I will add that it is alot less traumatic the younger the goat. Also, I CDT and then when I booster that is when I cut and eartag, saves on the antitoxin. When you have a wound that bleeds out some you have alot less problem with tetanus verses a wound that is closed. vickie, I have enjoyed your posts, learned alot. I have meat goats but the tx are the same.Stephanie
