Mystery bump spreads

Ok, day 2 into treatment of the mystery bump. (I had a long thread below but my computer is being a pain about loading.)

A little recap: My doe had a bump on her neck, wattle area a month ago. It keeps growing slowly, and this week was the size of a golfball. The vet came out Wednesday - put her on 7cc pen G to see if it responds. Today, it has spread down her neck, and laterally on her chin (left jaw bone). Nothing on her right side. She was a bit off feed this morning (not as voracious as usual during milking) and has dropped off milking by a 1/2 lb/1lb. No past history of Cl that I'm aware of (4 years), or any other problems.

It has grown tremendously over the past 2 days since the vet came. I have absolutely no idea on what it could be, what could be causing it, ect. I'm not sure if its responding to the pen G either especially since its growing. (not sure it grew due to alot of palpation, or aspiration with a needle). We got no fluid out, its not mushy, yet not like a rock, and is now a funny irregular pattern. If she dosn't improve by the middle of this weekend, or it starts to restrict airways, ect. the vet will be called immediately.

Any advice, or thoughts? I'm completely puzzled, and bothered by it!!! I'll try to get a picture on my digital camera tonight and maybe figure out how to post it. (don't know how to do that either!)

Thanks again everyone! One more goat lesson to add to the book :-)
