Yes ,I went though The same thing , only I sure did'nt find that many.Now here is what I learned!Get one that has its own light source meaning ,it plugs in to electric,And get a double eye piece.Also, get a three power - 10-40 and 100. For your fecal viewing, you will use the 10 power.Sue Reith is the expert, She has article on the sanaandoah.com. she gave me the name of a book., but its out of print. So here is one I found That is great-Diagnostic Veterinary Parasitology 2nd ed., by Charles M. Hendrix. Got it on amazon books. not expensive.Covers it all Do get plastic gloves for handling the feces. I got my microscope for under 300.00. Put it in a large plastic zip bag or you will see things you dont need to,like dirt or hair. WARNING- you will never pick your nose again- dont look at your water, if you like water. I have catalog some where. I'll look for it for you. goat mom
