When I raised pygmy goats, I did not have problems with goats beating up on each other. Now that I raise Angoras things are different. I was told about 1 goat being the "lesser" goat which I had never heard before. This goat was smaller than the rest, never really getting her share of food because the others kept her away. When I saw that I put her and another smaller goat in different sleeping and grazing areas along with 2 baby lamancha/cashmere crosses that I have. Now she is more of the leader - has gotten bigger and stronger - although not at all bossy. It was definitely a good move for her!
