My life is a blur of goat answers:) But I would have said this if the goats with the horses were wethers, castrated males. Both with the protein amount of good horse alfalfa, and the calcium in the alfalfa are just setting most wethers up for urinary calculi. It is fine for bucks, who are being used heavily, for does and growing kids, but a weaned wethered buck doesn't need much more than grass hay, minerals and water! Vicki
