I would encourage the baking soda even to the point of mixing some into her grain. Heavy molassed feeds (does it stick to your hands?) are very hot for the does this time of year. Also mine when they get into anything new in the woods will come in from pasture rather bloated looking. Bloat and full is hard to see, but you can feel bloat, if you slap lightly the sides of the doe she will feel like a drum. When the power company cut down all those pines, without telling me, the girls went out and pigged out daily on pine needles, they looked pregnant walking back in for their hay and grain. Didn't decrease there appetites any :) If she is acting fine, then I wouldn't worry, look closely at your hay and grain and feeders for mold. vicki
