What breed is this doe? How old is she? Check the inside of her bottom eyelid, is it pale or pink? How much Ivomec have you been giving her?
If she is Nubian, and if she is young and still on milk, it could be the "milk mumps". That's nothing to worry about and will go away after she is weaned. At 40 lbs. she should be getting a minimum of 1cc of the 1% injectable Ivomec orally. If you've been giving less than that she may have built up a resistance to the wormer. If you've been giving it under the skin it won't help her at all with her internal parasites.
