Is there an obvious injury? Most blood on bucks is around their horn areas, from butting each other, fences etc etc :) But if he has somebody to fight with he could have been popped in the nose.
If he also has some crusty stuff around the outside of his nostrils, that is browish, he may also have nose bots. Eaiser just to inject 1cc per 110 pounds of 1% Ivermectin under the skin to clear him of it, than to get a diagnosis. Do you have lots of sneezing going on? Sneezing and this waxy buildup around the nostrils is really the only symptoms. That's as good a guess as I can come up with :) Vicki
