I have the best luck with anything made from corn, like corn chips, left over corn bread Tostitos. Most of them like raisins and apples and some eat any fruit. It will be harder to tame the babies with the mama with them as they continue to depend on her for milk and protection. If you take the mama away now you will have to buy replacer or milk which gets expensive. Once she is gone they will, hopefully, learn to depend on you and will probably gentle now pretty quickly.
