Electric fencing is the easiest way to go. Usually if they get shocked good once or twice they wont go near any strand fencing. My grown goats won't dare touch even barbed wire. Sometimes the babies get brave and go through the barbed wire but won't go far because the does won't go under the wire. I have even strung electric wire up not connected to a power source and they won't touch it.
